Methanol is an essential ingredient used to produce hundreds of everyday industrial and consumer items. It is a clean-burning, cost-competitive alternative marine fuel.

Methanol is used to produce everyday products, such as building materials, foams, resins, plastics, paints, polyester and a variety of health and pharmaceutical products.

Since the start-up of the first Methanol plant in Saudi Arabia in 1982, Penthol has been in the Methanol business as a supplier.

The company is proud to work with Methanex, the largest Methanol producer in the world.

As of 2024, Penthol has achieved a sales volume of more than three and a half million tons of methanol.
