Global downstream distributor Penthol has expanded its base oils distribution network to Group I base oils. Penthol have started sales of European Group I base oils from storage tanks in Rotterdam. The company plans to increase its total storage capacity to more than 10,000t by the end of this year. This terminal is equipped to load onto trucks and barges. Penthol has been marketing Adnoc’s Group III base oils in the US since July 2016 as the exclusive distributor. The company has been actively supplying Group I and Group II base oils to other regions like South America, Asia-Pacific and South Africa and also plans to start Group II distribution in ARA by the end of the year.
